US President Donald Trump addressed the 81st UNGA in New York. Trump repeatedly called Iran an 'Islamic Terror' state and reiterated that Iran could never have nuclear weapons. Trump claimed that Iran had built ballistic missiles capable of hitting Europe and that it was moving toward a nuclear weapon secretly. Trump also dropped a major hint on a possible deal with Iran, saying it would have to wait till the midterm. Trump said he had offered Iran a deal several times and their refusal forced him to launch a war against the Iranian regime. Meanwhile, Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian is in the US for the UNGA along with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. On the sidelines of the UNGA, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met French President Emmanuel Macron. Trump also had a message for Russian President Vladimir Putin for the war in Ukraine.
