An elderly woman has died in hospital following a house fire in Newmarket. Two other men were injured. Steve Ryan reports. Mayor Olivia Chow is increasing the discount for the Small Business Property Tax Subclass, from 15 per cent to 20 per cent on the municipal portion of commercial property taxes. A 19-year-old woman was critically injured while crossing the intersection of Denison Street and Featherstone Avenue on Thursday afternoon.
