Copyright and removal requests
eTube does not host videos. Every video plays through the original platform's embedded player, and every listing links to its source. If you hold the rights to a video and do not want it listed on eTube, we will remove the listing.
How to request a removal
Use the Report link on the video's page and choose Copyright or trademark, or write to us through the Contact page. Please include:
- the address of the eTube page (it looks like
etube.com/…_abc123xyz.html); - the work you own and how the listing infringes it;
- your name, your organisation if any, and an email address we can reply to;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, their agent or the law, that the information you give is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
We act on complete requests promptly and confirm by email. A listing removed after a rights complaint is not restored without the complainant's agreement.
Removing the video itself
Removing a listing from eTube does not remove the video from the platform that hosts it. To take the video down at its source, use that platform's own copyright process.
Trademarks and other claims
The same process applies to trademark complaints and to any other legal objection to a listing. Repeated or abusive requests may be ignored.
Submitted videos
Visitors who submit videos confirm that they are sharing publicly available content from its original platform. Accounts that repeatedly submit infringing content are closed.
