The Anikulapo project was supposed to be a series. We shopped it around, and the feedback was that it was an ambitious project. When Netflix took it, they said they weren't confident about a series because I'd been doing films. When the film topped the first spot globally, they came requesting the series. We've since shot not just season 2 but also season 3, and Netflix will choose when that season will be released.
