Have you ever seen eels this big? We call them panangitan here, and you have to be careful when handling them because of their sharp teeth!

Today, I’m cooking these eels outdoors while the rain is pouring. After a day of working on the farm, nothing beats a warm, home-cooked meal shared with our farmers, with the sound of the rain. 🌧️🌾

Living on our island is a blessing. We have farmland where we grow our own food, and the sea provides us with fresh fish like these.
