English Podcast to Improve Your English | Build Sentences Faster & Speak More Naturally

Do you know a lot of English words, but your sentences arrive too slowly? 🐢 In this English podcast episode, Leo and Tina answer the most common question from students: "I understand English, but I cannot make sentences fast. Why?" They give you five simple tools that make your sentences faster and help you sound more natural — no grammar book, no long rules to memorize.

This is a listening and speaking lesson for A2 and B1 learners. You will hear a natural conversation, learn the five tools inside it, practice real situations, and get a simple ten-minute daily plan. By the end, you will know how to start speaking before you feel ready — and why fast with mistakes is better than slow and silent.

In this episode, you will learn the FIVE TOOLS for faster sentences:

1️⃣ Subject + verb first — "I want coffee." Short, but correct. Find the verb, and the sentence exists
2️⃣ Sentence frames — memorize the shape, change one word: "I'm really into ___," "I've been ___ for ___," "I was about to ___," "Can I just ___?"
3️⃣ Chunks — words that live together: "take a shower," "make a decision," "heavy rain." Don't translate the sentence. Find the chunk!
4️⃣ Connectors — "because," "so," "but," "and," "then." They join ideas AND give you one second to think: "I was tired, so I went home."
5️⃣ Thinking time — pauses with words inside: "Well..." "Let me think..." "How can I say this?"

⭐ Plus, in this episode: • Practice real situations: a bad phone line, a polite disagreement in a meeting, and a thirty-second introduction when you meet someone new • A quick three-situation test — answer fast, no thinking! • Shadowing: repeat short audio immediately, at the same speed, and copy the rhythm — five minutes a day is enough • The most common mistake: translating word by word ("I have hunger" → "I'm hungry") • Why rhythm matters more than perfect pronunciation — tap the table for each strong word • A ten-minute daily plan: two minutes of shadowing, three minutes of reading out loud, five minutes of speaking to yourself about your day

📚 KEY WORDS FROM TODAY:

chunk, frame, connector, rhythm, shadowing, fluent, hesitate, translate, natural, pause, and confident — with easy definitions, example sentences, and common mistakes to avoid.

💬 YOUR TURN:

What is one chunk you use every day in English? Write your answer in the comments. Copy one of these formats: • "My favorite chunk is ." • "I use '' when ." • "I want to learn '' because it sounds ___." We read every single comment — and mistakes are fine. We never laugh at you!
