First We Controlled The Technology... What Happens When It Controls Us? | The Truth 09-21-26

Welcome to The Truth, where we combat the lies with the truth. In this episode, Pastor Tom Hughes is joined by Pastor Curt Reed of Calvary Chapel Harvest Life in Las Vegas for an important conversation about the rapid development of brain-computer interface technology and what it could mean for the future of humanity. Together, they examine how brain-computer interfaces are already being used for medical purposes, the growing connection between the human mind and digital technology, and the potential risks surrounding human autonomy, privacy, and control. Pastor Tom and Pastor Curt also explore possible connections between these emerging technologies and themes found in Bible prophecy, including Revelation 13, the Mark of the Beast, and the increasing ability to monitor, track, and influence individuals. Most importantly, they discuss the importance of biblical discernment as technology continues to advance, emphasizing the need to test everything against God's Word and remain grounded in the truth of Jesus Christ. As technology moves toward capabilities once thought impossible, this conversation serves as a reminder that our hope is not in technology or humanity, but in Jesus Christ and the truth of Scripture.
