I Cooked Like a Mormon Housewife

This week, I put on my pearls, slipped into my best Mormon tradwife dress, and headed to the kitchen to recreate some of the strangest recipes from Mormon cookbooks. Eat your heart out, Ballerina Farm! 🧑🏼‍🍳
From funeral potatoes and sugar cube temples to bologna angel wings and Jell-O filled with vegetables, these dishes offer a strange & fascinating glimpse into Mormon food culture. Along the way, I'll share some (questionable) cooking advice, Mormon history, and quotes about why church leaders believed homemaking was a woman's highest calling. The real question: can Jell-O cheese mold get me a free pass into the celestial kingdom?
