This MacBook is 9 years old and has never been opened up! These retina MacBook's are some of the most reliable laptops ever made, and the fact this has gone 9 years without needing any service is proof of that statement. Every laptop has it's common failures, and this one has them too, but with the level of quality of newer technology I see in my repair shop every day, I wonder if these were the Golden years of reliability? We know that new MacBook's are basically unrepairable, but will they last as long? I don't think so.
