JAKE SHANE on Fear of Losing His Success, British Culture & His Dream Therapuss Guest
Great Company with Jamie Laing
Jake Shane is a comedian and content creator who has quickly become one of Hollywood’s most exciting rising stars.
What started as making videos at home with his friends has turned into a cult following of millions and a hit show, Therapuss with Jake Shane, where he’s interviewed everyone from Sandra Bullock to Kylie Jenner.
I’ve been a fan of Jake’s for a long time and sitting down with him was so much fun. But despite having millions of followers and so much success, Jake finds it surprisingly hard to enjoy what he’s achieved.
In our conversation, Jake shares:
- Why he struggles to enjoy his own success
- His thoughts on the Vanity Fair Red Carpet drama
- The guest he was most nervous for on Therapuss
- Why he never felt the need to come out
- His obsessed with British culture
After speaking to Jake, it’s clear he has the most incredible career ahead of him, and I can’t wait to see what he does next. Eight out of eight tentacles from me.
Jake Shane is Great Company.
