This is all happening as President Trump makes a last-minute stop to South Carolina to boost Republican candidate Darline Graham. Plus, Sci-fi star Patrick Stewart has died, according to a spokesperson, after "a brief and poignant journey with Alzheimer's Disease and Lewy Body Dementia." Stewart is known for playing Professor X in the “X-Men” film series and Capt. Jean-Luc Picard in the “Star Trek” franchise. And at 77, the grandmother of six is working part time to earn enough in addition to Social Security to cover basic living expenses. NBC News’ Christine Romans reports for the series “Affording America.”
