Lyrics:

Always wondering

Where I’m going

Where is best to go

And you were my only hero

All these years and more

But I don’t wanna make a fool of you

And you don’t wanna make a fool of me

So baby why don’t we just leave it where it should be

And we’re through

We almost had it all

But the beating of my heart

Will always soldier on

An automatic call

And now I fall apart

I’ll always carry on

It was on a

Cold December

You and me were done

Saw you leaving through my window

Slamming the front door

But I don’t wanna make a fool of you

And You don’t wanna make a fool of me

So baby why don’t we just leave it where it should be

And we’re through

We almost had it all

But the beating of my heart

Will always soldier on

An automatic call

And now I fall apart

I’ll always carry on

And now you wanna meet up

You know how much it will hurt

It seems I’m never enough

You’re never gonna disrupt

The rhythm of my heart

We almost had it all

But the beating of my heart

Will always soldier on

An automatic call

But now I fall apart

I’ll always carry on

Even if you’re not here
