They aren't such minor characters any more, though pawns they remain! Tom Stoppard's highly lauded tragicomedy comes to life in this high-spirited adaptation starring Gary Oldman and Tim Roth. En route to Elsinore Castle, the hapless Rosencrantz (Oldman) and Guildenstern (Roth) wander the Danish countryside while contemplating the meaning of life, the strange world around them and fate of their old friend Hamlet, Prince of Denmark. Little do they know what really awaits them. Richard Dreyfuss also stars and Stoppard directs.
