Shawn Ryan’s Podcast Editor QUITS Over Leah Files Interview!

Jimmy discusses the controversy surrounding Shawn Ryan’s decision to initially withhold an interview with investigative commentator Leah Files, who says Ryan’s team told her not to name Peter Thiel and Andreessen Horowitz while discussing the funding behind Flock Safety’s surveillance technology. Ryan later released versions of the interview and called Leah a fraud, but Jimmy argues that Ryan failed to directly address her central allegation and questions whether the published footage was truly unedited.

The segment also features allegations from Leah and a man claiming to be the brother of Ryan’s editor that employees had quit over the fallout and that staff faced pressure not to respond publicly. Jimmy portrays the dispute as a potential example of censorship and conflicts of interest in independent media, citing Ryan’s investments in defense and surveillance-related companies, while leaving viewers to judge the competing accounts for themselves.
