The UST Growling Tigers suffer a heartbreaking end to their up-and-down UAAP Season 88 men's basketball tournament, bowing to the five-time finals-bound UP Fighting Maroons in an 82-81 thriller.

Outgoing captains and veteran stars Forthsky Padrigao and Nic Cabañero console the promising holdovers of the rising Tigers, who will also lose Kyle Paranada and Leland Estacio to graduation.
