Watch live coverage as SpaceX launches a Falcon 9 rocket with the U.S. Space Force RRT-1 mission, thought to be a third-generation GPS satellite. Liftoff from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station is scheduled for 7:51 p.m. EST on Monday, December 16 (0051 UTC Tuesday). The first-stage booster making its 4th flight will land on SpaceX's drone ship 'A Shortfall of Gravitas', stationed in the Atlantic Ocean, eight and a half minutes after leaving the launch pad.The mission will take a north-easterly trajectory on departure from the space coast and follows the same trajectory and timeline taken by a previous GPS 3 satellite launched by SpaceX.
