President Donald Trump announced that the United States conducted a strike in the Caribbean targeting a drug-carrying vessel that had departed from Venezuela.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed the news on X.

LiveNOW's Josh Breslow spoke about the strike with former FBI agent Kenneth Gray.

The press office of Venezuela’s government did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the announcement.

The Pentagon did not offer any immediate comment on the reported incident.
