President Trump responded to a warning from Iran’s Supreme Leader that a U.S. strike could trigger a regional war, brushing it off as expected rhetoric while emphasizing America’s military presence in the region. Trump noted that the U.S. has its most powerful naval assets positioned nearby and expressed hope that a deal could be reached within days, adding that if negotiations fail, the true intentions of Iran’s leadership will become clear.

Shortly after the warning, Iran canceled a planned live-fire exercise in the Strait of Hormuz following a U.S. alert. Reports also indicate that representatives from both countries are preparing for a possible meeting later this week in Ankara, Turkey.

Former Canadian parliamentarian and Iranian-born commentator Goldie Ghamari @gghamarimpp told CBN News she believes Iran’s willingness to negotiate follows a familiar pattern. She said the regime will say or do whatever it takes to remain in power, buying time to regroup and rebuild its strength. Ghamari remains in close contact with people inside Iran and says the resistance movement has not faded.

According to her, Iranians are increasingly convinced this is a decisive moment. She described a growing sense of resilience and anger toward the Islamic regime, saying many view it as weakened and disconnected from the people. Ghamari believes Iranians are open to U.S. — and possibly Israeli — military intervention and insists the regime’s collapse is inevitable, even if its leaders have yet to realize it.

Meanwhile, on Fox News Sunday, Senator Lindsey Graham urged President Trump to fully support the Iranian people, arguing that the regime will never be a genuine partner of the United States. Graham warned against mixed signals, calling this a defining moment for Trump’s presidency. He said real action is needed and soon, stressing that Iranians are pleading for American support. Graham predicted that the fall of Iran’s leadership would reshape the Middle East on a scale even greater than the collapse of the Berlin Wall.

Evangelist Robbie Dawkins, who has ongoing contact with Iran’s underground Christian church — one of the fastest-growing in the world — echoed that belief. He said the downfall of the regime would unleash a surge of evangelism comparable to what occurred across the former Soviet Union after communism fell.

Dawkins said he believes the Iranian regime will completely collapse, leading to full liberation for the people. He added that Christian leaders and ministry teams are prepared to enter Iran to support and equip believers, describing the moment as historic and urging prayer for the Iranian people, whom he says are ready for profound change.
