ZZ TOP - Got Me Under Pressure - Drum Cover

"Got Me Under Pressure" is a song by ZZ Top from their 1983 album Eliminator. The song was produced by band manager Bill Ham, and recorded and mixed by Terry Manning. David Blayney (ZZ Top's stage manager of 15 years), in his book Sharp Dressed Men described how the song was pre-produced: Billy Gibbons and Linden Hudson (Houston engineer and songwriter) wrote the whole song and created a recorded demo all in one afternoon without either bassist Dusty Hill or drummer Frank Beard's knowledge. Linden created the bass on a synthesizer, created drums on a drum machine and helped Billy Gibbons write the lyrics; Billy performed the guitars and vocals.[2] In live performances of the song, Gibbons and Hill exchange vocals with each alternate phrase.

Lyrics:

She likes wearin' lipstick, she likes French cuisine

But she won't let me use my passion unless it's in a limousine

She got me under pressure,

She got me under pressure

She likes the art museum, she don't like Pavlov's dog

She fun at the mind museum, she likes it in a London fog

She don't like other women, she likes whips and chains

She likes cocaine and filppin' out with great Danes

She's about all I can handle, it's too much for my brain

It's got me under pressure

It's got me under pressure

I'm gonna give her a message

Here's what I'm gonna say

"It's all over"

She might get out a nightstick

And hurt me real real bad

By the roadside in a ditch

It's got me under pressure

It's got me under pressure

It's got me under pressure

It's got me under pressure #joeymcnew #nashville #drumcover #drumsonly #countrymusic #drums #backingtrack #drum #drums #backingtracks
