Robert Ellerman, my incredible method acting teacher, assigned us a fun project: choose a music artist you could realistically do a character study on and play. Study their mannerisms, movement, facial expressions, behavior, etc. Take these all on, and perform as them. Well, I went for it and chose the queen herself, Beyoncé! This was a fun assignment that the class took with just as much seriousness as their scene work, and boy did we have fun watching and supporting one other put on a show!
