Lyrics:

I never thought you’d be back around

Last time I saw you we were burning down

Wanted it then but I don’t need it now

I’m alright, alright

I see you rolling with the fake love

Don’t need it fake cause I got enough

A penny for your love is all that I would give

This time, this time

All that I know is that this s*** comes around oh

All that I know is first I gotta save myself

I’m riding on a new wave babe

Don’t mind me I’ll be on my way

So don’t come at me like it’s yesterday

I’m riding on a new wave babe

You’re acting like nothing’s changed

But you and me will never be the same

So don’t come at me like it’s yesterday

I’m riding on a new wave babe

I never thought you’d be broken up

You’re heavy hearted with an empty love

Wanted it then but I don’t need it now

I’m alright, alright

I know you’re thinking about my little black dress

Darling you never even saw me at my best

You say believe me but I’m leaving now

Cause I’m alright, alright

All that I know is that this s*** comes around oh

All that I know is first I gotta save myself

I’m riding on a new wave babe

Don’t mind me I’ll be on my way

So don’t come at me like it’s yesterday

I’m riding on a new wave babe

You’re acting like nothing’s changed

But you and me will never be the same

So don’t come at me like it’s yesterday

I’m riding on a new wave babe

You hit me up man like nothing has changed

But I’m riding, I’m riding, on a new wave

You want my love, I got nothing to say

Yeah I’m riding, I’m riding, on a new wave

I’m riding on a new wave babe

Don’t mind me I’ll be on my way

So don’t come at me like it’s yesterday

I’m riding on a new wave babe

You’re acting like nothing’s changed

But you and me will never be the same

So don’t come at me like it’s yesterday

I’m riding on a new wave babe

I’m riding on a new wave babe

Don’t mind me I’ll be on my way

So don’t come at me like it’s yesterday

I’m riding on a new wave babe

I’m riding on a new wave babe
