The Caribbean has emerged as a new flashpoint in global geopolitics as tensions escalate between Washington and Moscow. The U.S. has deployed 16,000 troops, eight warships, a nuclear submarine, and B-52 bombers near Venezuela, calling it an anti-narcotics operation.
