[Electro Swing] Little Violet - Code Red (Official MV)

CODE RED is the title track from the new album by LITTLE VIOLET. It debuted on the iTunes Jazz Album charts at #4 and topped every major Electro Swing playlist on Spotify since. It's out now here: https://idol.lnk.to/codered

Quality song-writing and the brilliant musicality of the productions are what sets the album apart while the vintage-influenced, retro pop singles from SILENT MOVIE to TAKING YOU WITH ME put it alongside contemporaries like Caro Emerald or platinum-selling label-mates Swing Republic.

LYRICS:

Each days a drag

The moments lag

Can't seem to find peace of mind

When I'm killing time wish I could hit rewind

Check my phone

Feel so alone

Itching to get myself out

but I'm just stuck on this never ending roundabout

Trial and error, I don't mean to scare ya

But it is too late you see

And now you must go on without me

Save yourself

Find someone else

Cos i'm a ticking time bomb and I'm about to blow

I've hit code red

Need to find a way out of my own head

Nothing's safe for me in here

Said that it was for my own protection

But how can I trust my own reflection?

Code red

Who's coming to my rescue?

Said I was beautiful on the inside and out

Beautiful on the inside and out

Beautiful on the inside, inside, inside, inside

Said I was beautiful on the inside and out

Beautiful on the inside and out

Beautiful on the inside, inside, inside, inside

So close to the edge

Here's where I make my pledge

Willing to let myself fall

If it will make it stop, that never ending call

It's fight or flight

Which do I sacrifice

As I come up slowly for air

Reaching out hopelessly to my despair

Trial and error, I don't mean to scare ya

But it is too late you see

And now you must go on without me

Save yourself

Find someone else

Cos i'm a ticking time bomb and I'm about to blow

I've hit code red

Need to find a way out of my own head

Nothing's safe for me in here

Said that it was for my own protection

but how can I trust my own reflection?

Code red

Who's coming to my rescue?

Said I was beautiful on the inside and out

Beautiful on the inside and out

Beautiful on the inside, inside, inside, inside

Said I was beautiful on the inside and out

Beautiful on the inside and out

Beautiful on the inside, inside, inside, inside

Will I ever just, ever just

Ever just figure it out?

Figure it out what's going on inside my head

I guess you never did, never did

Never did figure me out

So I say this for your own protection

Code red

I need to find a way out of my own head

Nothing's safe for me in here

I said that it was for my own protection

But how can I trust my own reflection?

Code red

Who's coming to my rescue?
