Brighton's SWING NINJAS are a 9 piece New Orleans style vintage swing band. Known on YouTube as the band behind fellow Brightonians' THE SPEAKEASY THREE , their sound evolved over many years from a walk-about busking trio doing cover versions to a full big-band playing originals. 'My Belle' is taken from the bands 3rd album (their first of wholly self-penned material).

In 2015 Swing Ninjas released their first album of all-original material called 'Do Ya Hallelujah?'. A mongrel cross between Squirrel Nut Zippers, True Detective, Pokey LaFarge and Graham Green. It's blackly humorous and distinctly wry British gumbo, with songs about life, lust & penitence.

The Swing Ninjas played stages at WOMAD Festival, Love Supreme Jazz Festival, Norway's Trondheim Lindy Festival, Switzerland's Ewz.stattkino Festival and London's prestigious National Theatre, all whilst holding down a weekly residency at Brighton's Mesmerist alongside both the aforementioned Speakeasy Three and another Brighton band, Flashmob Jazz.
