People Are Christmas Shopping ALREADY… It's Only OCTOBER?!

People are Christmas shopping in JULY, August, and September?! 🎄 From Hobby Lobby's 50% off Christmas decorations to Target gift deals and Costco holiday displays, Christmas shopping in 2026 is starting EARLY. But are people actually saving money, or is holiday shopping pressure getting out of control?

Today, we're reacting to viral Christmas shopping videos, early holiday hauls, Hobby Lobby Christmas sales, and shoppers who visit stores without buying anything. Some people are getting their Christmas gifts months in advance, while others are showing everything on the shelves and leaving empty-handed.

We're talking about holiday spending, Christmas shopping budgets, retail marketing tactics, impulse buying, FOMO, and whether a 50% off sign always means you're getting a good deal.

Because buying something on sale doesn't automatically mean you're saving money. And just because the Christmas decorations are out doesn't mean your wallet needs to come out, too!

Do you start your Christmas shopping in July, wait until after Thanksgiving, or shop at the last minute? And can you walk into Hobby Lobby or Target without buying anything? Let me know in the comments!
