I believe in God the Father - maker of heaven and earth

And in Jesus Christ His only Son

I believe in the virgin birth

I believe in the Man of Sorrows bruised for iniquities

I believe in the Lamb who was crucified and hung between two thieves



I believe in the resurrection on the third and glorious day

And I believe in the empty tomb and the stone that the angel rolled away

He descended and set the captives free

And now He sits at God's right hand and prepares a place for me

The faith that has endured

Creo en Dios Padre, Creador del cielo y de la tierra,

y en Jesucristo, su único Hijo. Creo en el nacimiento virginal.

Creo en el Varón de Dolores, herido por nuestras rebeliones.

Creo en el Cordero que fue crucificado y colgado entre dos ladrones.



Creo en la resurrección en ese glorioso tercer día

y creo en la tumba vacía y la piedra que el ángel hizo rodar.

Él descendió y libero a los cautivos.

Y ahora se sienta a la diestra de Dios y prepara un lugar para mí.

Este es mi credo, el testimonio que he oído. La fe que ha permanecido.

Esta verdad se mantuvo segura en las épocas mas oscuras del pasado.

Aunque sea perseguida, permanecerá y yo me mantendré fiel a este credo.



Creo que Él envió a su Espíritu para consolar y revelar,

para guiarnos a la verdad y a la luz, para bautizarnos y sellarnos.

Creo que el volverá otra vez así como se fue

y nos recibirá a todos a si mismo, pero nadie sabe cuándo.



Creo que es el Juez de todo hombre, grande o pequeño.

Las almas resucitadas de los hombres reciben de el su destino.

Algunos a muerte, otros a vida, algunos a su recompensa.

Algunos a cantar alabanzas por siempre a nuestro Señor.
