As pubescent teens struggle to grow up into a vastly complex world, sex remains one of the most perplexing topics. 
My work ‘Sex ed’ (2020) encapsulates the misconcenptions and discomfort around the education of sex in young teens. Yet naive, the inquizitive teen is not completely ignorant to the enigma of sex. The teen's ‘education’ of sex stems from their peers, guardians and the media surrounding them. This information is filtered and entangled with misconceptions, exaggeration, and taboo, fabricating sex as many contradicting components; a means of reproduction, pleasure, an unlawful act, status, humorous.
