Tony & Chelsea review the new Sony a7C II and Sony a7C R, the most compact full-frame mirrorless cameras. They're perfect for travel, vlogging, and general photography. However, some aspects of their design make them better suited to casual rather than professional photography.
First, the Sony a7C II is based on the Sony a7 IV. The Sony a7C R is based on the Sony a7R V. The C cameras have most of the same specs, and exactly the same image quality, as the cameras they're based on. However, they have a lower-quality viewfinder, a worse sync speed (1/160 instead of 1/250), and only a single SD card slot insead of two. However, they're less expensive.
