President Donald Trump has said the US will leave Iran "whether we have a deal or not" once he's certain the regime cannot build a nuclear weapon "for years".

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Tehran has the "necessary will" to end the war provided its enemies guarantee it will not flare up again.

Israel and Iran have continued to trade strikes overnight, with 14 people reported injured following a strike outside Tel Aviv, a tanker was hit by two projectiles off the coast of Qatar, and a man has been killed in the UAE.
