Philosophic Salty (Larry Bryggman) just wants to launch his live-in boat and sail off. But crooks buy the boatyard to turn it into condos and, needing to move, he meets and falls for marina artist and sailor Daisy (Blythe Danner). Not knowing she's one of triplet siblings, he involves himself with some of her seemingly shady acquaintances and it sets off comic consequences along the waterfront.
