Pheasants regularly visit our garden, looking for some easy food. In June one of the hen pheasants brought her new chicks with her. Who can resist them! The story doesn't have a happy ending, sorry to say. After a few days the chicks were nowhere to be seen, there was just an agitated hen. They probably ended up as foxy-snacks. Nature's cruel!
