Rock Shabbat was a real-time road trip documentary of American Jewish music. Between 9/1/12 and 12/21/2012 Sam Rotenberg, Sam Rosenbaum, and Asher Krell travelled around the continental United States to meet Jewish musicians, listen to their stories, and produce weekly episodes, all to take a snapshot of American Jewish music. We also had some fun along the way...

This was our third episode. We interviewed, edited, and published each video in under 6 days. Due to the learning curve involved, this video is not as well edited as the later episodes. Our editing skills improved as the project continued, and because of that the later episodes are more neatly edited than the first few.
