Terry McLaurin Returns to Commanders Training Camp | Contract & Injury Update

Washington Commanders star WR Terry McLaurin has ended his brief holdout, reporting to training camp despite no progress on a new contract extension. McLaurin was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list with an ankle injury, and while the team says his rehab will be handled as normal, there’s no timetable yet for his return.

McLaurin, turning 30 in September, has been a cornerstone of Washington’s offense since 2019. He’s coming off five straight 1,000-yard seasons and a stellar 13-TD campaign in 2024, ranking 2nd in the NFL.

With fellow WRs like Garrett Wilson securing massive deals, the pressure is on Washington to lock in their captain. The Commanders have already traded for Deebo Samuel and acquired Laremy Tunsil, signaling a serious playoff push.
